Our geriatric patients are typically aged 65 and above, but it’s important to note that geriatric status isn’t solely determined by age. You might be 70 years old, working a full workweek, and in excellent health, without being considered geriatric. Conversely, at 60 years old, with multiple comorbidities and a complex medication regimen, you may be classified as a geriatric patient.
