Immunology is the study of the immune system and is a specialty of Dr. Rafi and the Allergy, Asthma, and Sinus Institute. Our immune systems protect us from infection. If the immune system is malfunctioning, our defenses are down against diseases, such as cancer, autoimmune and allergy.

Dr. Rafi is the only Board Certified and Fellowship-trained Allergist/Immunologist in Los Angeles who has completed advanced training in chronic sinusitis. His advanced training also focused on CVID (Common Variable Immune Deficiency), bronchitis, allergic skin disorders, and the immunology of aging. He is also Board Certified in Geriatrics and Gerontology and focuses on immune function, medication assessments, and nutrition in the older adult.
