Geriatrics & Gerontology Long Beach CA
Dr. Rafi and his team at the Allergy, Asthma, and Sinus Institute specialize in geriatric care. Dr. Rafi has extensive training in geriatrics and gerontology, focusing on immune function, enhancement, and academic non-cosmetic anti-aging.
Being a geriatric patient isn’t solely about age; it considers various factors. You could be 70, healthy, and working actively, or 60 with many health issues and medications and still be a geriatric patient. Functional abilities in and out of the home, comorbidities, and medical complexity play a role.
With each new patient, we start with a medication and lab review. Additional testing is done as needed to understand their unique medical needs and create a personalized care plan.
Our commitment at the Allergy, Asthma, and Sinus Institute is to provide high-quality, individualized care to geriatric patients, enhancing their well-being. If you or a loved one need specialized geriatric care, we’re here to help.
