Dr. Rafi and his team at the Allergy, Asthma and Sinus Institute, specialize in treating geriatric patients. Dr. Rafi completed a one-year fellowship in geriatrics and gerontology at UCLA and a special fellowship in advanced geriatrics. His focus was on immune function and enhancement and academic non-cosmetic anti-aging.

Our geriatric patients are usually over 65, but being geriatric is not defined by age. You could be 70 years old, working five days a week, be super healthy and not be geriatric. With each new patient, we start from the beginning. We typically begin with a medication review and a review of their recent lab results. Then we order additional testing as needed.
